Homebuyers Education

Homebuyer Education is an eight-hour course that instructs new homebuyers on available financing options, budgeting, saving for maintenance, understanding home insurance, the importance of home inspections, appraisals and the role of Realtors. Assistance from area professionals allows Neighborhood Housing Services to offer this program at a minimal charge. Hundreds of families have graduated from these pre-purchase classed.
NHS also offers down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible participants.
