“CAP Fair 2008”
The 2008 Developing Community Leaders Academy would like to thank the many volunteers and sponsors who helped make the CAP (Community Activities & Programs) Fair 2008 a resounding success. This year’s fair played host to 25 local organizations and groups who introduced the different activities, programs and services available for residents in the Lead-Deadwood area. Over 340 youth and adults attended this year’s fair, which also included hot dogs, cookies, an inflatable slide and bouncing castle and a baby kangaroo from the Roo Ranch. The Leadership Academy would like to extend a special thank you to all of the sponsors who donated prizes, materials and monetary donations to make this great event possible: First Western Bank, Tobacco Free Coalition, Cadillac Jacks, Deadwood Rec Center, First Deadwood Souvenirs, Silverado, Iron Horse Inn Ugly Pub Pizza, Deadwood Chamber of Commerce, Neighborhood Housing Services of the Black Hills, and Pizza Hut.
