• • Lead Neighborhood Council seeks to revitalize neighborhoods. The Lead Neighborhood Council participates in Paint the Town, Tri-City Clean and Plant the Town. Currently there are five neighborhood block clubs in Lead.
In 2007, the Lead Neighborhood Council has partnered with the City of Lead to provide $250 Exterior Grants to owner occupied residential structures within the city limits of Lead. Grants are awarded for projects including but not limited to painting, landscaping, siding, sidewalks, roofs, doors, windows and retaining walls. The grants are use to help cover the cost of materials only. Applications are available at NeighborWorks Dakota Home Resources, the City of Lead and local hardware stores.
