Neighborhood Block Clubs
Since 1996, Neighborhood Housing Services of the Black Hills has organized 12 Neighborhood Block Clubs within the communities of Central City, Deadwood, Lead, and Wall. Through these Block Clubs, NHS works towards their mission of neighborhood revitalization. While each Block Club is different all have the common goal of improving and revitalizing their neighborhood. Block Club projects include beautification projects; clean up of central areas; assisting seniors in the neighborhood with projects and clean up; hanging of Christmas lights; and socials.
