U.S. BANK INVESTS $100,000 IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING

FOR SOUTH DAKOTA

RAPID CITY, SD (Jan. 24, 2007) – Patrick Burchill, U.S. Bank Rapid City community bank president, today announced the investment of $100,000 in affordable housing for South Dakota.

South Neighborhood Housing Services of the Black Hills in Deadwood will receive $100,000 in equivalent investments, also known as low-interest loans to be used exclusively for low-income mortgage customers who need financial assistance when purchasing a home in South Dakota.

“We are very proud to partner with Neighborhood Housing Services to help make the dream of homeownership a reality,” said Burchill.

Joy McCracken, executive director of Neighborhood Housing Services, said, “We thank U.S. Bank as these funds will go a long way in helping to provide decent, safe and affordable housing and promote neighborhood revitalization efforts currently taking place throughout our state.”
