The neighborhood is known as Candy Cane Lane and historic light poles are decorated as candy canes throughout the neighborhood.

In 2004 the neighborhood installed a new sign at the gateway to the neighborhood. Future plans for the neighborhood include the continued revitalization of Railroad Park.

In 2006 the neighborhood built horseshoe pits in Railroad Park.
